Sprinter Morales Williams loses lead, places 3rd in men's 400m at Ostrava Golden Spike

Canadian sprinter Christopher Morales Williams competes in the men’s 400-metre heats at the World Athletics Indoor Championships on March 21, 2025 in Nanjing, China.

An aggressive Christopher Morales Williams led midway through the men's 400 metres at the 68th Ostrava Golden Spike on Tuesday, but the Canadian sprinter faded over the final 100 and finished third in 45.10 seconds in the Czech Republic.
