Portland Timbers stun LAFC with late goal to force 1-1 draw, LAFC falls to 7 seed

Carlos Vela gave LAFC an early lead with a 5th-minute goal in the final game of the MLS regular season. Despite having several more opportunities than the Portland Timbers, Diego Valeri found his way into the box unmarked and knocked in the equalizer with just minutes left to play. The draw forced LAFC into the No. 7 spot in the Western Conference and they will take on the Seattle Sounders in the first round.

Rodolfo Pizarro scored the only goal of the first half in the 33rd minute to give Inter Miami CF the early lead. On a penalty kick, Franco Jara scored the equalizer to even FC Dallas with Miami CF. Ryan Hollingshead fired a goal to put FC Dallas on top of Inter Miami CF, 2-1, in the 82-minute.
