'Heirloom' Habs hockey sweater made in 1965 was stolen — the family's pleading for its return

The sweater-jacket was handmade by a family friend in 1965 after Pete Lee, designed the logo. He gave it to his late brother, Paul Lee, for his 25th birthday. After he died, Lee continued to wear the sweater-jacket, seen here.

Pete Lee's lovingly worn knitted sweater with the Montreal Canadiens logo on the back and the Rocket's No. 9 on the sleeves wasn't expensive. But for the London, Ont., resident's family, the Habs-inspired jacket's value is immeasurable.
