Former Sask. Roughrider speaks about being 1st out trans woman in CFL history

Maven Maurer, who grew up in Saskatoon, is a Grey Cup winner who the CFL says is the first former player to be publicly out as transgender. She says it's a scary time to be vocal about her identity, but she's doing so anyway to help other vulnerable transgender people.
