Rookie kicker gets wish granted on the field after watching Maya Turner play and win

Amélie Beauregard and Maya Turner met for the first time on the field after the University of Manitoba Bisons game in Calgary on Sept. 21. It was Beauregard's 18th birthday wish.

They're not on the same team. Or even the same league. But football players Amélie Beauregard and Maya Turner have a lot in common: they're both breaking down barriers for women in a sport dominated by men.
