Canada's Derek Gee 4th to begin final week of Giro d'Italia cycling race

Israel-Premier Tech's Canadian rider Derek Gee arrives ahead of the start during the 16th stage of the 108th Giro d'Italia cycling race in Italy from Piazzola sul Brenta to San Valentino on May 27, 2025.

Ottawa’s Derek Gee, riding for the Israel-Premier Tech team, placed fifth in Stage 16 of the Giro d'Italia on Tuesday and moved to fourth in the overall standings after a breakthrough in the 2023 race.
