Sarah Mitton throws 19.16 metres to set Canadian indoor shot put record

Sarah Mitton of Brooklyn, N.S., threw 19.16 metres in New York on Saturday to set an indoor Canadian record in women's shot put. Her training partner, Brittany Crew, held the previous mark of 18.81.
